Good, not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy the ease of setting up time and temperature. I love the huge window and that the oven capacity is larger inside than my last oven. But I am very disappointed in the actual baking quality that I’ve experienced so far. The temperature seems to be very inaccurate-much cooler than it should be. I’m trying to figure this out by recalculating the temperature, but haven’t been successful yet. The convection is a joke. Because there isn’t a heat source behind the fan, this feature causes essentially more of a drying effect than a convection effect. In all fairness, this wasn’t the oven I wanted to buy, but the only one I could get in shorter than 6 months.

Hi, DLH57! Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're sorry to hear you're still struggling to get the best baking performance. Fan convection does provide quicker and more even heating, but is not as efficient as True Convection. If you are using a third party thermometer to test the temperature, please be advised these thermometers can be off by 20-40 degrees, especially with an active fan that is constantly pushing the air around and preventing a stationary thermometer from getting an accurate reading. You can calibrate the oven to cook hotter or cooler using the instructions on page 14 of the Owner's Manual; we hope you find a setting that works best for your needs! Sturdy Wall Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd convection oven and I love that option! It bakes evenly wherever I place my item(s) to bake/cook. There's only a few things that could be improved upon: A 3rd rack would be fantastic! With the larger size oven, this should be standard. The touch screen control panel can be a bit finicky. It's not very user friendly and I find myself hunting for modes I want. Maybe add a favorite button that users could personalize and get to from the home screen. The coating (powder? paint?) is super thin, as it's already rubbed off from the rack movement. A possible area for rust in the future. I'm not a baker, per se. I've used my oven maybe a dozen times in the 9 months I've had it. See attached pics.

Clean and simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how clean and simple this oven is, it looks fantastic in my kitchen. The window is HUGE, you can see everything inside the oven, and the touch screen is so easy to use! Very intuitive. Still learning all the features, but so far, I have nothing but love for our new Frigidaire Oven. It heats quickly, everything I've cooked so far has come out fantastic, even and golden brown. We didn't want one of those super fancy does everything ovens, we just wanted a nice simple oven that does what it should. This oven fits the bill PERFECTLY and didn't break the bank buying it.

Fine for a basic oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted just a basic oven, no bells and whistles. This oven is just that. I wish it did hit have a touch screen for controls because I can see that will likely go out and have to be replaced. But my least favorite feature is the delay bake. With my previous basic, no-frills Fridgidaire oven, I was not limited to how long I could delay the start. This oven limits me to 1 hour! I can’t delay the start time any more than 1 hour! I can’t have Sunday lunch cooking while we are at church because of this. I used the delayed bake all the time, but now it’s worthless to me.

Sleek lines and not complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven bakes nice and uniformly. For some reason, it seems to blast me with hot, steamy air when I open the door to remove the food. Maybe that has to do with it's low placement in the kitchen island. I actually never knew that that was a convection component and will need to read up on that, since I've never used a convection oven before. One minor complaint is that it requires hitting start twice prior to it actually warming up, and so on a few occasions I thought the oven was heated when it wasn't. I've since gotten accustomed to that feature.

worked great for turkey dinner!

Replaced my old stove with the 30". had to trim the cabinet a bit and rearrange the wiring to make it fit. Had turned it on and there was a error code, found one wire connector slipped off from circuit board but that was an easy fix. Tested it out with a cake and used the timer and instructions from box of cake. It came out nice . Had used it at Christmas day turkey dinner. white meat usually dries out but this was moist! love it I also tested the broil, self cleaning and convection, much better then the old one! I'm impressed!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Works as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven replaces a 15 year old Bosch oven that was purchased for it's interior size. This Frigidaire oven interior space is just as large and the operating controls are simple. It was well packed for protection in shipment and an easy DIY install. The temperature throughout the operating range is accurate as checked with multiple digital thermometers. The only criticism is that it only comes with 2 racks and the lowest rack setting is quite a bit above the bottom of the oven, reducing the overall useful capacity somewhat.
