[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the range about 6 weeks ago. Second choice, first choice did not appeal to me once it was installed. No Problem! Made an appointment to look at a different model. A basic, no-frills, do what it has to do range. Other reviews made me pay attention to how pots sat on the new safety designed elements. No big deal! Finally used oven to bake fish. Baked at higher temp, took out at usual cooking time, fish done but not browned as I had hoped. Will get an oven thermometer to check temp calibration! No big deal. Wife likes the warm up feature and buzzer that alerts you to set temp. All in all, I am pleased with this purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range has not worked since the day I bought it and plugged it in. Called Whirlpool more than once, they won't send a service person out because I live an hour from the nearest service place that does warranty work. That shouldn't matter, they should honor the warranty and pay a local appliance individual to fix it for me. 3 burners work, but I don't even know if the oven works because the display controls are blank and won't turn on. Whirlpool used to have great service 20+ years ago. If I buy a new control board for this thing (not even knowing if that's what it needs, just a guess), it will cost nearly as much as what I just paid for this thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reason I purchased this make and model was because of brand reputation as well as ease of functions, you don't have to be an IT genius to figure it out. Elements heat up really fast and evenly. Would have gotten 5 stars except for 2 things. The rear wall of the bottom drawer could be higher. If I forget and put the wrong pans on top of the others, they fall off and go behind the draw on the floor. The second thing is the center spring loaded sensor on the elements don't clean off if something splashes on them . However these 2 items really don't affect the functionality of the stove. I really enjoy it.

The issue I have with it is that the oven takes a long time to preheat & even when it beeps to let you know it has reached the temperature it really hasn't reached the correct temp. Its about 20 to 25 degrees under temp. I have an oven thermometer that I keep in the oven & it has been doing this since I purchased this. The other complaint I have is about when you put a timer on what you are cooking once time is complete the oven automatically shuts off. That's probably a good thing but it's not when what you are cooking may need to be in their an additional few minutes & the oven has shut off & the temp inside has quickly dropped 100 degrees.

First of all, it doesn't come with an Owner's Manual, so you're on your own figuring out how everything works. The oven racks are very difficult to slide. It took a while to figure out how the timer works, but when we finally did, we could barely hear the buzzer. We were baking something at 425 degrees and when we touched the top oven surface, it was really, really hot. This never occurred with previous electric ranges. It seems like it might be a manufacturing error. I would never recommend this range to anyone, and regret buying it.

However, each year I can and preserve our family’s foods o with a range, and I was very Dissapointment in the performance of the energy saving range. Each burner, when turned on “high” to obtain a boil, automatically starts cooling off before it can reach a boil. This process continues throughout cooking UNLESS you spend extra money to purchase regular old fashions burner plates. The so called energy saver actually lengthens electrical use time AND overcooks fruits & foods when processing. This Range is not efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my new stove for about a month and love it. I have had coil stovetop for 25+ years and when I tried a glass top, well it sucked. My new whirlpool stove heats up fast, boils water fast, and I haven't had any problems so far with the sensor things in the middle of the coils. I wish there were more stainless steel like on the stovetop surface but I am happy overall with that part. Digital is easy to read and I like the blue clock digits. The bottom drawer needs a better handle/grip but is sufficient. The oven is big and I have even baked rolls and they turned out great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the simplicity of it just the basic range the only complaint is the stove top gets really hot when we are baking and it takes a bit longer for the oven to preheat than the old whirlpool oven we had which was at least twenty five years old and it still worked great we just had a electrical problem and we thought that it quit working and we bought the new one before we found out the old one was still working haha anyway I hope this helps we love whirlpool products and I hope and pray that you all stay safe and healthy thank you for making a quality product sincerely Scott
